Under the needle

No, I haven't had another tattoo. It's funny how easy life is with the Internet and such resources as street view and aerial photography. With a bit of help, I was able to find the exact spot where Shepherd's Needle grows, on-line, before heading out to see it on the wall by Roedean. When I got there it actually felt like I had already been there, a feeling I was not entirely comfortable with, it felt too easy. Anyway, here is the plant, I'm trying to get an angle on all the arable plants that grow on the chalk so I can get my eye in on the farm surveys. The leaves were quite like Yarrow. Also growing on the top of the wall was Hoary Stock and Knotted Hedge-parsley.
