This is one of my favourite mosses and it grows in abundance in Leconfield Glade at Ebernoe. It's Dicranum majus and it's much bigger, with longer more curved leaves, than the much commoner Dicranum scoparium featured below. I did add one new fungi to my list today being Lumpy Bracket but the photos didn't come out. That was species 3670.
