Red-ringed eyes

Hay fever is bad this year. I suffer the most with my eyes, being a contact lens wearer I have to abandon them at this time of year. I really don't enjoy doing natural histroy in my glasses, I feel like I miss things and I'm all over the place too. I have a massive scab on my head where I walked into a dead branch this week and half ripped a dread out. At least in the New Forest there isn't much flowering grass, it's only grass that bothers me. Anyway, enough whinging. Here is another fellow with red-ringed eyes, a handsome male Euophrys frontalis that I saw on the cliff tops of the IOW yesterday. Not at all rare but the first time I have seen a male. I saw it walking along on a tiny patch of concrete waving its white-tipped black front legs in the air like two tiny magic wands. Jumping spiders are the best!
