The Moon and the Sledgehammer

I just heard about this film, The Moon and the Sledgehammer. Set in 1971 in a rural part of Sussex (not sure where but I would love to find out). Apparently it's a documentary about a family who live in comparative isolation but it's from a period of cinema/era (the 70s) that I love and I would like to find out more about this film. Has anyone out there seen this and/or know where it's filmed? It's being shown at a night in Brighton called The Hedgerow Society at The Basement on the 21st January at 8.00 pm and I think I will go and look.

This clip shows the steam engine passing Horsham Station

Its said to be filmed near New Haven. Juding from the brief clip of the car driving past the woods, it looks to be the road running up the hill from the Cuckmere Valley, making it Friston Forest.
There are a couple more videos on Youtube also.

I think it must be somewhere near Horsham. One site mentioned it was only 20 miles from London making the north of the county a more likely place. Also, if this family were seen driving a steam powered tractor past Horsham station in one of the clips, it seems unlikely they would do this from a Newhaven base. In addition, Friston Forest would have looked very different 40 years ago. Apparently the exact location may never have been revealed.

We think it is Horsham, we have this film in our collection.

Would you mind changing the trailer you are featuring for The Moon and the Sledgehammer to the official trailer please? It's on You Tube. There is also a 2nd trailer called BEHIND The Moon and the Sledgehammer. This is a companion DVD offering an insight into the original film with more information on how it was made, how the crew interatcted with the family, what the family thought of being filmed, what happened to them etc. Please feel free to include this trailer. Thanks.
