The Dark Night

I decided to go and help at Ebernoe with the bat transect but sadly our equipment failed and although we heard and saw a few bats I was none the wiser to what they were and we were not able to make a full recording. I did see a single Glow-worm which was really cool and a Treecreeper flying around in a very unusual manner at night as well as about ten Perseids. The Milky Way looks amazing tonight in the dark of the West Weald and totally stole the show. Better luck next time with the bats!

Nice glow-worms. Firefly season ending now in Michigan.
